Amaju Pinnick, the former head of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has filed a lawsuit against Davido for claimed violation of contract.
Creebhills reported last month that Amaju publicly chastised Davido for failing to turn up to his event despite having paid him a hefty sum and hiring a private jet for his entourage. He stated that he paid Davido $94,600 to perform at the performance and that he spent an extra $18,000 to reserve a PJ for him and his team.
He then compared Davido to his opponent, Burna Boy, whom he claimed was considerably superior to him.
The concert organizers have filed a N2.3 billion lawsuit against Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) Limited.
Amaju filed the claim under the name Brownhill Investment Company Limited, seeking N150 million in legal and professional expenses as well as N30 million in filing fees.
Pinnick has been demanding a public apology from Davido on his social media sites for four days in a row.
Furthermore, he is seeking an injunction to bar Davido from appearing at any show or event in Nigeria until he repays the money he received.
