Halima Abubakar, the Nollywood actress, recently emerged publicly after a prolonged absence due to an undisclosed illness that she had been battling for nearly two years.
She resurfaced to fulfill her civic duty by participating in the Governorship election currently taking place in Kogi State.
Through social media posts, Halima Abubakar shared photos and videos of her outing, expressing her delight at being present in her home state for the first time in two years.
She expressed her gratitude towards God and shared her happiness at being able to contribute to a significant event in her hometown’s history.
“It was an honor Kogi state. Nothing like home🙏 Kogi state election👏🏾 My first outing in 2years🎉 God showed up for me 🙏🙏Amb halima Abubakar,” she wrote.
Recallhat Halima had been sick after her alleged relationship with the controversial man of God, Apostle Suleman.
Although the pastor continuously denies their relationship, the actress insists that her life turned miserable after they parted sideways and has since been bedridden until now.
Fans and well-wishers are filled with joy to see the actress on her feet again.
