“Someone told a lie that could destroy my business because he didn’t want to go down alone” Mimi Orjiekwe opens up on court battle with billionaire, Michael Diongoli

Mimi Orjiekwe, a Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, has spoken out about her continuing legal struggle with embattled billionaire Michael Diongoli.

Michael Diongoli was detained for fraud months ago, according to Kemi Filani, for allegedly scamming a retired Army colonel and others out of billions of dollars.

Diongoli was arraigned alongside his two companies, UK-Don Group and UK-Dion Investment Limited, before Justice Lewis-Allagoa on eight counts of conspiracy, gained by deception, and fraud.

Following his arrest, the police confiscated many of the billionaire’s belongings, including those he donated to his numerous side chicks, who many claimed were BBNaija Nengi, Mimi Orjiekwe, Nuella Njubigbo, and Onyi Alex.

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) allegedly seized Nengi’s Range Rover.

Michael Diongoli had named dropped Mimi Orjiekwe and leveled several claims against her after purchasing furnishings from her interior decoration firm, and the actress had visited the Okoye police station Special Fraud Unit. According to her counsel, Diongoli allegedly refused to pay an outstanding significant sum of naira for storage and clearance charges.

Mimi took to Instagram to discuss how Diongoli, whose name she did not identify, lied about her and wanted to tear her down.

The mother of one has pledged to speak out one day, but for the time being, she will remain silent because the case is still in court.

Despite his allegations, more doors, and blessings tripled afterward and it has left her overwhelmed.

“God sees all!! God knows all!! Few months ago someone told a lie that could destroy my business because he didn’t want to go down alone !! Someday I will speak about it .. (We are still in the court of law)

But the point is. More doors, blessings tripled afterward. Am not noisy if you know me! But am overwhelmed… My Dad told me then to let go and watch God… God bless his soul!! God is great!!”.
