Wumi Toriola, a Nollywood actress, has created a stir online with her ideas on being a second wife.
In an interview with her colleague, Debbie Shokoya, the Yoruba diva, who announced her divorce earlier this year, indicated that she is open to having a second wife.
According to her, as a single mother of one, she has little choice but to take whatever comes her way because she considers herself to be after one now. She also stated that she is open to marrying a widower or someone similar to her who has previously been married with children.
“I used to have the mindset that I can’t be a second or third wife but that has changed because I’m after-one now.
“If I see an after-one like me too or a widower, I will marry him. What matters is my happiness”.
Her statement left a Netizen noting how actress, Regina Daniels, who is the sixth wife to billionaire businessman, Ned Nwoko has left many Nollywood actresses contemplating being second or third wives.
