Shallipopi has responded to accusations that he paid N9 million to purchase inauthentic streams in order to boost the ranking of his tracks on digital music charts.
Ebaide, an up-and-coming singer, claimed that a music influencer had deceived her by accepting payment with the promise of increasing her music streams, only to later back out.
According to Ebaide, the influencer had informed her that she had successfully carried out the same task for Shallipopi at a cost of N9 million, which led Ebaide to agree to pay for the service.
However, Shallipopi, using his X handle, has denied the allegations, describing them as “false”.
Shallipopi has finally broken his silence on the allegations of paying N9 million for a ‘streaming farm’.
The Nigerian musician stated that the accusations were fabricated by individuals seeking attention.
