GWR: Ghanaian media personality set to embark on 117 hours Sing-A-Thon

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, a well-known media personality from Ghana, is all set to create a new world record for the longest singing event called Sing-A-Thon.

The announcement was made by Afua on her Instagram account, where she shared a screenshot of the response she received from the Guinness World Record management regarding her upcoming sing-a-thon.

She revealed that she plans to sing Ghanaian songs continuously for 117 hours, without repeating any songs until after the fourth-hour break.

Afua Aduonum’s intention behind taking on this record-breaking challenge is to spread awareness and promote Ghanaian songs to a global audience.

Additionally, she disclosed that her aim is to surpass the current world record holder for the longest individual singing marathon, which stands at 102 hours.
