Burna Boy, the Nigerian Afrobeat singer, has revealed that his song titled ‘Thanks’ was inspired by his grandmother.

This track is featured on his seventh studio album, “I Told Them.”

Burna Boy explained in a recent social media post that he recorded the song because of his grandmother’s contradictory behavior.

She always wanted him to come home, but whenever he visited, she would ask him to leave soon after.
