“The wind is going to blow on the Naira” – Pastor Adeboye predicts significant shift in the distribution of wealth

RCCG awards N300m scholarship to 694 Redeemers’ University students

In the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Headquarters in Ebutte Metta, during the Thanksgiving Service in January 2024, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye addressed the issue of wealth misuse in Nigeria.

With optimism, the pastor expressed his belief in a forthcoming transformative change for the country.

He assured Nigerians that there would soon be a significant shift in wealth distribution, which would have a positive impact on the nation’s currency.


Highlighting the prevailing economic disparities and the necessity of resource redistribution, the clergyman conveyed a powerful message.

During his sermon, Pastor Adeboye said; “Don’t let anybody tell you money is not in this country, just that it is in the wrong hands. This year, wealth will change hands. The wind is going to blow on the Naira.”

He also instilled hope in the hearts of his congregation by predicting that, by the end of 2024, Nigerians would witness a noticeable improvement in their financial situations.


Pastor Adeboye encouraged those who have devoted themselves to serving God, emphasizing that their commitment would not only bring repositioning but also elevation.

In his words;

“Don’t let anybody tell you money is not in this country, just that it is in the wrong hands.


“This year, wealth will change hands. The wind is going to blow on the Naira.

“Long before the end of this year, you will know that you are on the mountaintop. Some will start the year as nobody but before the end of the year, they will be somebody.

“If you do anything you can to serve God, he will not only reposition you, he will lift you to the mountain too.”
