Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has caused a stir on social media by rejecting a portrait of his late friend Mohbad and his son.
A video surfaced online recently, showing Bella Shmurda on an elevated stage surrounded by a massive crowd during a performance.
One audience member presented a picture portrait of Mohbad and his son Liam to Bella Shmurda.
The singer invited the fan on stage to examine the picture frame.
After evaluating it, Bella Shmurda took the microphone and proclaimed that he would not accept the gift.
He thanked God for life and wished peace for Mohbad before announcing that the person who brought the picture frame would also return it since he couldn’t accommodate the image in his house.
However, he did offer the fan a significant prize.
He stated in Yoruba: “You that brought this picture will be the same person to take it back because I can’t put this in my house, but I will give you money.”
