Renowned Nigerian celebrity critic Daniel Regha recently made a derogatory comment about Carter Efe’s new song.
On Twitter, Regha criticized the song, saying that although it sounds pleasant, it is not true music.
He suggested that the song would be suitable for kindergartens and nurseries, as it teaches about the states and capitals of Nigeria.
Regha then advised Efe to collaborate with Alaba music marketers or distribute his songs to schools on CDs.
He wrote:
“Carter Efe’s “Babypiano” sounds good; That’s not real music, but it will be a great song for creche, plus kindergarten students who wish to learn about Nigeria States & Capital. He should simply record on CDs & distribute to schools, or team up with Alaba music marketers. No shades.”
A few weeks ago, Don Jazzy confronted Regha for his unwanted advice, calling him a nuisance. Regha had recommended that the Mavins founder have a child to ensure his legacy continues after his death.
Regha emphasized the importance of having children to carry on one’s heritage, even if not everyone desires marriage.
Daniel Regha went on to say that being a father should be one of Don Jazzy’s top goals right now, and that he should even consider adoption. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Regha wrote:
“Don Jazzy not being married isn’t an issue, not everyone fancy marriage; But he should adopt a kid, at least someone who can preserve & carry on his legacy long after he’s gone. Being a dad ought to be among his top priorities right now, adopting is always an option. No offense”.
