AFCON 2023: Vincent Enyeama hints at Super Eagles’ return

Vincent Enyeama, the former goalkeeper of the Super Eagles, has hinted at a possible return to the national team.

Enyeama expressed his intention to be present at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations training camp, revealing this on social media.

Despite his retirement in 2015 after more than 100 appearances, the 41-year-old seems to be considering making a comeback.

Enyeama had previously explained that he left the team due to feeling mistreated and disrespected.

In addition, he refrained from watching the Eagles’ matches.

However, now there are indications that he may rejoin the squad for their training camp in the UAE before AFCON 2023.

Reacting to a post about the AFCON preparations of the team on the official Instagram account of the Super Eagles, Enyeama posted a comment saying; “Let’s go, See you in camp. Time for business.”
