Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress, has made her first public comment following her box office success.
According to Creebhills, Funke Akindele broke a record for the Nigerian film industry by becoming the first Nollywood film to gross a billion naira in such a short amount of time.
Funke Akindele amassed a fortune of one billion, sixty million, seven hundred and eleven thousand, four hundred and ninety-one dollars.
Funke Akindele’s films, A Tribe Called Judah, Battle On Buka Street, and Omo Ghetto The Saga, are now the highest-earning Nollywood films of all time, according to the Wikipedia Nollywood grossing table.
Taking to her Instagram page, Funke Akindele who is speechless over her new feat, expressed gratitude to her Maker. She also appreciated Nigerians and Ghanaians for their massive support for her.
