Carter Efe, a popular skit maker and singer, has recently explained his decision to not release his upcoming song titled “Babypiano.”
A few days ago, Efe shared a preview of the song on his Instagram page, featuring him reciting a children’s rhyme and the Nigerian National Anthem.
Unfortunately, the response from netizens was overwhelmingly negative, with many criticizing the content of his new song.
Some individuals expressed concerns that Efe’s musical direction was potentially detrimental to the Afrobeat genre, which was pioneered by the legendary Fela.
Carter Efe has now declared that he will not be releasing his new single as a result of the overwhelming negative feedback he received after sharing the snippet.
