Korra Obidi, a renowned Nigerian dancer, singer-songwriter, and model based in the US, recently opened up about her struggle to enroll her daughter, June, in school.
Despite her efforts to bring June to school, Korra was disappointed to learn that the school couldn’t accept her because she had been absent for a whole week.
This unexpected turn of events left Korra feeling frustrated and unsure about what to do next.
In response to the school’s request for a doctor’s note, Korra Obidi expressed her strong determination to meet all the necessary requirements.
She acknowledged the difficult nature of the situation, emphasizing that while it might not be the biggest regret of her life, it certainly presented challenges that tested her composure.
Korra’s current priority is to obtain the required documentation in order to secure June’s enrollment in school.
She said; “I tried to take June to school today snd I couldn’t because she hasn’t been in school for a week and they didn’t want to accept her. June is basically not in that school anymore until they get a doctor’s note. I’m not gonna say that this is the biggest regret of my existence but it’s really hard to stay graceful.”
