In an interview, Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham, confidently claimed the title of being the world’s “best”.
She clarified that this title was not self-proclaimed but bestowed upon her by her fans.
According to Toyin, this title is fitting because her acting skills and beauty are outstanding.
Abraham said, “I didn’t call myself [the world’s best actress], people called me word best because I am the world’s best.
“My confidence is top-notch, my beauty is top-notch, my brain is top-notch, my acting is top-notch. So, I am world best. I didn’t call myself, they [fans] called me and I claimed it.”
Additionally, she acknowledged that the entertainment industry tends to favor women over men.
Toyin Abraham believes that female entertainers are more successful due to their strong emotional connection with viewers.
Furthermore, she revealed that her latest film, ‘Malaika’, is her most expensive project to date, as she paid veteran actor Emeka Ike and other cast members millions to appear in the movie.
