In a recent interview with The Morning Brief, Doyin David, a reality TV star, shared some valuable advice about why Big Brother Naija may not be suitable for everyone.
According to Doyin, participating in a reality TV show requires strong mental stability. She emphasized that individuals who lack this attribute should reconsider joining such shows.
As a former housemate in both the “Level Up” and “All Stars” seasons of Big Brother Naija, Doyin spoke about her life post-show and expressed her excitement about the financial benefits.
However, she also acknowledged that being on a reality TV show can have negative implications for mental health, as it exposes participants to judgment and scrutiny from others.
Despite these drawbacks, Doyin David believes that the positive aspects of the show outweigh the negatives.
In her words: “I keep saying it. If you are not like mentally grounded and you are not sure about who you are and the type of person that you are, maybe you still have like issues with your mental health, I will not advise you to go on that show.”
