While some country music stations have refused to play the new tracks, country stars Maren Morris and Lainey Wilson have recently praised Beyoncé’s new crossover.

“I think the leaning into country elements, and sort of reclaiming country music back to Black people, because they created the genre, is such a statement,” Maren told E! News, while Lainey said to Extra, “I love it. The more the merrier.”
