Nigerian musician and record producer, Pheelz, expressed his excitement and gratitude for his recent collaboration with American R&B sensation Usher, calling it a “dream come true.”
Pheelz was featured on the track ‘Ruins’ from Usher’s latest album, ‘Homecoming.’
During an interview with Apple Music, Pheelz highlighted the significance of his collaboration with Usher, highlighting the strides Nigerian music has made and revealing that Usher was his idol while growing up in Nigeria.
“I would listen to Usher almost every day growing up. I literally dived into his albums and learned from him. And to be able to write, produce, and teach him [Usher] in a way, it shows me how far the [Nigerian] music has gone. It shows me how far dreams can go as well,” Pheelz said.
