On Monday, February 12th, 2024, the official NAFEM market closed at a naira-dollar exchange rate of N1,534/$1.
The naira is the weakest it has ever been versus the dollar at the official market close.
The intra-day high and low against the dollar were also N1,550 and N1,000, respectively, as Nigeria’s currency continues to fall as a result of central bank reforms aimed at a free market exchange rate.
