Manuel Muzic, also known as Yunus Emmanuel Abdulrazak, who was a contestant on season four of “The Voice Nigeria,” has sadly passed away.
The news of Manuel’s death was confirmed by singer Ric Hassani, who expressed his condolences in the comment section of Manuel’s latest music video on Instagram on February 5.
Ric Hassani wrote:
“I am refusing to accept this all day. So heartbroken. Manuel. You were just at my place eating and playing just last week I don’t get all of this. I am so sorry, I don’t even know how to process this. I truly don’t, I don’t even just know what to say,”
During his time on the show, Manuel Muzic competed under the guidance of singer Niyola but did not advance to the finals.
He captivated audiences with his performances of songs such as Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You,” Lojay’s “Mona Lisa,” and a duet of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” with fellow contestant Gidion.
On December 8, 2023, Manuel Muzic released the music video for his single “Photos.” His death, which occurred two months after his birthday celebration on December 19, is currently attributed to typhoid and malaria, although the exact cause remains uncertain.
