Following the demise of Afrobeat musician Davido, popular sketch creator OGB Recent said that the Headies awards are far superior to the Grammys.
At the 66th annual Grammy Awards, Davido was nominated in three categories: ‘Timeless’ for Best Global Music Album, ‘Feel’ for Best Global Music Performance, and ‘Unavailable’ for Best African Music Performance, making it his best chance of winning his first Grammy.
However, the Afrobeat sensation lost all three of his Grammy nominations at the event, which took place in Los Angeles.
OGB Recent labeled the Grammys corrupt via the X platform, wondering how Tyla’s “Water” won over Davido’s “Unavailable.”
He further declared that the Headies is better than the Grammy Awards.
