Dollar will sell for N1,700, bag of rice N90,000 – Primate Ayodele warns Tinubu

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, reminded President Bola Tinubu on Monday that one dollar equals N1,700, and one bag of food is N90,000.

He warned Tinubu that if no solution is found to halt the country’s current disarray, it will lead to an oncoming economic crisis.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele stated that if the president does not take action, the Nigerian economy will not be balanced until 2026.

According to Ayodele: ‘’If Tinubu’s government doesn’t do the needful, the economy will not balance till 2026.

“They need to put security in place, reduce the prices of food commodities, provide enough electricity and promote local products. This will help the government and will crash the dollars.

‘’All these measures they are taking will not work; it will just lead to inflation. If they don’t do the right thing, Nigeria will buy dollars for N1,700, a bag of rice will cost N90,000 and it will kill the economy. They don’t seem to have ideas will not help the situation.’’
