Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has joined Iyabo Ojo in mocking their colleague, Lizzy Anjorin, over theft charges.
Recall that Lizzy was accused of scamming a trader at the Lagos Island market a few months ago.
Videos circulating online showed the Yoruba singer being involved in a gold jewelry robbery on Lagos Island. According to online sources, Lizzy went to a well-known market in Lagos on November 17, 2023, and purchased Stones for tailoring materials totaling N91,000.
Due to miscommunication between the POS merchant and Lizzy Anjorin, Lizzy sent the money to the wrong account number, due to an error in the numbers. Because of her celebrity status, the vendor trusted Anjorin and allowed her to leave without confirming the payment, only to discover that the transaction wasn’t successful.
Fast forward to now, Lizzy patronized the same market and the same vendor and she was easily recognized despite concealing her identity with a nose mask. The drama unfolded after the vendor spotted her as the individual responsible for unresolved payment. Luckily for her, her husband was on the ground to bail her out of the messy situation.
Lizzy Anjorin, took to her Instagram Live to debunk the reports as she stated that people were trying to set her up.
Reacting to it, Nkechi took to Iyabo’s comment section to question who was trying to set Lizzy up.
She wrote, “Which one of you set up people today in the market”.
Bakare Zainab, under her comment, left several laughing emojis.
