“ He's not who you think he is” – Kunle Ayanlowo narrates ordeal working with Kwam1 (Video)

Kunle Ayanlowo, a drummer for Fuji singer, King Wasiu Ayinde, also known as Kwam1 or K1, recently spoke out about his experience working with him.

In an interview, he discussed how Kwam1 treated him and his colleagues like slaves, often confiscating their passports when they traveled and returned to Nigeria.

He shared a troubling incident where Kwam1 ordered him to go home while he was on his way to the hospital for treatment.

Kunle revealed that he is still dealing with ulcer issues and warned that Nigerians should hold K1 accountable if anything were to happen to him.

Having worked with Kwam1 for 32 years, Kunle expressed that he achieved nothing and lived in constant fear during his time with him.

He highlighted that while people may only see K1’s good side, they do not know the truth about who he really is behind the scenes.

“Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde used to seize and hold on to our passports whenever we traveled and returned to Nigeria. It is my right as a Nigerian to have my passport with me. My passports with him are over 3. One day someone was taking me to the hospital for treatment, Alhaji met us on the road, he ordered me to get down from the car and go back home and I was having intense stomach pain. Till today, I am still nursing the ulcer. If any bad thing should happen to me, I will hold him accountable. I was with him for 32 years and I achieved nothing. I lived in fear throughout my time with him. People only see him as a good person outside, you don’t know who he really is”.

In response to Kunle’s revelations, many pointed out that this behavior may explain why no one came to Mohbad’s aid when he sought help over his troubles with Naira Marley.
