Nigerian artist Iyanya shared the story of how he met a beautiful lady who caught his eye at Davido’s Timeless concert in 2023.
Following his performance at the event, he announced his interest in finding a particular lady, later identified as Florence, who had shown admiration for him during his time on stage.
The two went on a lunch date and boat cruise, but faced criticism from social media users who accused Iyanya of taking Florence from her boyfriend.
In a recent interview on Naija FM, the Kukere crooner clarified that he did not snatch her from her partner, emphasizing that it was her eyes, not her appearance, that captivated him.
Upon reaching out to Florence, Iyanya learned that her father was battling cancer and she had taken a break to enjoy herself at the concert.
Moved by her situation, the singer decided to offer his assistance to her.
