Julius Abure re-elected Labour Party national chairman

Police arrest LP National Chairman, Julius Abure in Edo State

On Wednesday, Julius Abure was re-elected as National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP) for a second term.

According to Channels Television, Abure received full backing from delegates.

On Wednesday, Mr Ikechukwu Emetu, the Chairman of the National Convention and Deputy Governor of Abia State, proclaimed the winner during the party’s national convention in Nnewi, Anambra State.

Abure has been at odds with the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, led by Joe Ajaero.
