Lydia Nabawanuka was (Born July 27, 1991), into the Kasugi William and Nakanwangi Scolastica family in Mukono district. Her journey took an unexpected turn when her parents parted ways in 1995.


She started her elementary schooling at Victoria Nile School, laying the foundation for her academic path. Later, she moved to Saint Mary’s School Namaliga, nestled in the picturesque Kimenyedde sub-county of Mukono District, where she continued to hone her skills and knowledge.

It all began in high school when Lydia Jazmine discovered her passion for singing after joining the school choir.
