Tems, a Nigerian artist, has revealed that he signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before partnering with American diva Beyoncé.
Tems spoke with the New York Times about her experience working with Beyoncé on her next 2022 album, “Reinassance.”
“My team just messaged me like, ‘Yo, first of all, I have to send you something to sign. I was losing my mind. Like, What?!” she told New York Times’ Culture Reporter Reggie Ugwu, expressing her excitement.
Upon receiving a message from her team, Tems expressed her excitement and surprise at being asked to sign something. She accepted the NDA after being invited to work with Beyoncé in Los Angeles.
Tems revealed that the song “Move,” featured on Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album “Renaissance,” resulted from their time together in the studio.
Aside from Beyoncé, Tems has also collaborated with other renowned international artists such as Drake, Rihanna, and Future. She and Drake were featured on Future’s Grammy-winning track “Wait For U.”
