Nigerian singer Davido has replied to his followers’ rising concerns over $Davido coins, a cryptocurrency initiative affiliated with him.
After several followers claimed to have lost money from investing in the token, Davido addressed the topic for the first time.
He used the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss $Davido coins and encourage his followers to join the connected community.
“Join the community $DAVIDO! More spaces coming soon and you’ll be REALLY excited by who we got coming up next! @davidotoken_sol,” he said.
Davido further emphasized his involvement and transparency by sharing another post detailing a recent event where he demonstrated the use of his cryptocurrency.
He mentioned “Those who joined the space with me and @blknoiz06 got to witness me creating my @phantom wallet and receive $100 via the @solana network in a matter of seconds!”
This series of posts is Davido’s first public engagement on the issue since allegations of fraud and mismanagement started circulating.
