Convicted kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, along with his co-defendant Joseph Emeka, who were previously sentenced to life in prison for murder and kidnapping, have been re-arraigned.
The duo has decided to pursue a plea bargain in relation to the new charges against them.
During the re-arraignment before Justice Adenike Cokers at an Ikeja High Court, their lead counsel, Yusuf Sule, informed the court about this option.
The amended charges include murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit felony (specifically kidnapping), and attempted murder.
Sule explained that the defendants were seeking a plea bargain, which the prosecutor stated was being reviewed by the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Mr. Lawal Pedro.
