Nigerian artist Crayon, born Charles Chibueze Chukwu, opened up about his past relationship with a cheating ex-girlfriend before he found fame.
In a casual chat with his fans on his X page, Crayon shared that his friends had warned him about his girlfriend’s infidelity, but he ignored their advice because he was deeply in love.
Their relationship lasted for three years, during which Crayon remained faithful despite being cheated on multiple times.
His ex-girlfriend never supported his music career, doubting his potential for success in an industry where nobody from their neighborhood had made it big.
However, everything changed when Crayon was signed by Don Jazzy of Mavin Records. His ex-girlfriend reached out to him, but
he brushed her off, feeling that he had outgrown her.
Despite the painful memories of being cheated on, the singer is grateful that there is no concrete evidence of their past relationship, as he didn’t have a smartphone to capture moments together at the time.
