Man City thrash Wolves 5-1, Haaland Scores 4 to keep pace with Arsenal

Manchester City are on course to win their fourth consecutive Premier League title after defeating Wolves 5-1 on Saturday. Arsenal defeated Bournemouth 3-0 at the Emirates on Saturday.

City knew they needed to respond, and Erling Haaland’s hat-trick in the first half effectively clinched the outcome.

Haaland converted two penalties past Jose Sa and curled in a stunning effort as Pep Guardiola’s side gained control of the game.

The Norwegian striker added one more after the break, while Julian Alvarez came off the bench to score a late fifth.

Arsenal remains at the top with 83 points, one more than City, who still have a game at the end.
