Nottingham Forest’s attempt to challenge a four-point deduction has been declined according to a report by ESPN.
The imposition of a four-point penalty on the Premier League team occurred in March subsequent to their violation of Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
Upon receiving the penalty, the club conveyed their dissatisfaction with the ruling and indicated their intention to contest it.
Nonetheless, an impartial panel has disregarded their objection, placing Forest in a precarious position within the relegation struggle.
Presently, Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad holds 29 points, maintaining a three-point lead over Luton in 18th place. Both teams have a mere two matches left to play.
