Insiders have revealed that the decision to cancel the show was primarily driven by tensions between the channel and producer Sonia Mbele, a well-known former Generations actor.
A letter obtained by ZiMoja stated that Multichoice opted not to renew the series after a thorough business review.
Allegedly, tensions escalated when Sonia was instructed to no longer communicate directly with the show’s creators at NBC in the United States.

Nomsa Philiso, CEO of General Entertainment at Multichoice, declined to comment on the matter, stating, “I have no comment on this one.” Sonia Mbele confirmed that she has been informed of the show’s cancellation. “My job is to set trends and let the rest follow.
