He explained that being signed to a record label is not the only way for people to earn money.
He explained how some people earn $5,000 and $7,000 per month on Apple Music and Spotify, and how singers should learn to upload their songs on those platforms so that when others listen them, they may make money without having to contract with a record label.
Recall that in March 2024, Davido unfollowed Buju after Buju posted a tweet that criticized Davido.
Recall that earlier this was because Buju had responded to a fan who trolled his new artist for not being good enough.
While responding to the fan, Buju had thrown an indirect jab at Davido hinting at the fact that Davido himself was not a good artist.
Davido had reacted to this immediately by deleting a tweet he made with Buju about a song collaboration. He had further gone on to unfollow Buju.
Also recall that Buju had also finally bowed to pressure and tended an apology to Davido. Buju stated that he was sorry and that people had misinterpreted his comments.
