Tinubu breaks silence on alleged

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has informed Nigerian workers about the forthcoming increase in the minimum wage.

Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, made this revelation in a statement released on Wednesday to mark this year’s Worker’s Day.

The president commended Nigerian workers for their dedication and commitment to the advancement of the nation.

He emphasized that the well-being of workers continues to be a top priority for his administration.

“The President affirms that his administration remains committed to improving the welfare of all workers, noting the various relief programmes, including the wage award and the imminent minimum wage review.

“President Tinubu strongly believes that the custodians of the nation’s machinery deserve a fair wage and enhanced welfare and that a labourer is deserving of not just any reward but fair and commensurate wages.
