Makinwa, who had recently returned from an abroad trip, reported discovering fuel shortages and higher electricity rates when she reached home.
She wrote: “Yoooo, landed in Lagos to all this madness, petrol scarcity, electricity tariff hike, diesel prices not smiling. What is all these? Independent woman don taya [tire] o.”
Recall that Toke Makinwa separated from her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, in 2015 after discovering that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend.
