Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a well-known Nigerian media personality, has revealed that he faced three health issues and underwent surgery in 2023.
While he did not specify the ailments, he shared that he had been struggling with health challenges throughout the previous year.
On his X handle on Tuesday, he wrote: “[I] Had 3 health scares in 2023 and ended the year in surgery… Fixing the body in 2024.”
Looking ahead to 2024, Ebuka is now focused on recovering and improving his health.
In addition to his personal struggles, Ebuka recently criticized the Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, for their disappointing performance in a 2-1 loss to Benin Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifying series.
He expressed his disappointment with the team’s overall performance in the qualifying matches.
“Three points from a possible 12 is beyond disastrous. I still haven’t recovered from yesterday,” he tweeted on Tuesday morning.
