Jose Mourinho has stated that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is mocking the chaotic situations at Manchester United and Chelsea as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Chelsea is reportedly in talks to appoint Enzo Maresca as their new manager following the dismissal of Mauricio Pochettino. This would make Maresca the fourth permanent head coach under Todd Boehly.
On the other hand, United is still in the process of evaluating their performance this past season, with the possibility of Erik ten Hag being relieved of his duties looming.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has returned to coaching after his departure from Roma in January and will now be taking charge of Fenerbahce.
The 61-year-old, who was working as a pundit for TNT Sports during the Champions League final on Saturday, was questioned about his former teams.
When asked about Chelsea’s situation after deciding to part ways with Pochettino, Mourinho replied: ‘I have no idea.
“Tottenham I have an idea, this is Tottenham, always fighting to be fourth, which would be amazing between fourth, fifth, sixth, next season the Europa League, of course they can win it.
“Chelsea… I really don’t know.”
When asked about Manchester United, Mourinho said: “A little improvement but more of the same.
“I think in this moment Pep [Guardiola] laughs at the mess at other clubs.”
