Falz the Bahd Guy, a Nigerian rapper, activist, and film actor, discussed how the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC)’s statewide strike affects him.
The strike began on June 3, shutting down government operations and affecting many individuals nationwide. Falz was in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, for a charity football tournament organized by Super Eagles player Troost Ekong.
While returning, he discovered that the Lagos airport had been closed due to the strike.
Despite being stuck in the South-South region with business in Lagos, he is content to stay.
Falz supports the NLC’s demand to increase the minimum wage from N30k to N494k, calling it valid. He criticized the government in his dialect, calling them irresponsible.
