Celine Dion, the Canadian singer, has announced that she will not let her struggle with Stiff Person Syndrome prevent her from returning to the stage.

In an interview with Hoda Kotb on the Today Show, the 56-year-old singer promised to continue performing, even if she had to crawl to the stage and communicate with her hands.

“I’m going to go back on stage, even if I have to crawl. Even if I have to talk with my hands, I will. I will,” she vowed.

Celine Dion shared that she had kept her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome hidden for 17 years before deciding to make it public.

She disclosed that she had been experiencing symptoms since 2008 and described the feeling of the syndrome as being “strangled”.

Despite suffering from cramps and even breaking some ribs,Celine Dion remains determined to overcome her health challenges and make a comeback in the music industry.
