Supermodel Oluchi Onweagba refuted Temi Otedola’s claim of being the first ambassador for L’Oréal Paris from Nigeria and Africa.
Shortly after Otedola was named the brand’s first African ambassador, Onweagba took to Instagram to set the record straight.
Providing evidence in the form of an old photo of herself representing L’Oréal Paris, Onweagba asserted that she is the true pioneer as the first Nigerian ambassador for the brand.
Oluchi published an old photo of herself posing for the brand, claiming to be the rightful owner of the achievement. While throwing shades, the supermodel wrote: “LEGITIMATE TBT FIRST NIGERIAN REMAINS FIRST FOREVER. NOT A LOUD SPEAKER BUT COUNT ON ME TO SHOW YOU ALL RECEIPTS.”
Oluchi Onweagba’s post directly responds to Temi Otedola’s recent statement, which she shared on social media. Temi shared a snapshot of herself and wrote:
I still don’t believe I’m typing this but I’m so excited to announce that I am the first-ever African Digital Ambassador for @lorealparis
I’m truly honored to be the first Nigerian representing L’Oréal not only across Africa but also on a global stage. This has been the hardest secret for the last 6 months!!.”
