Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has reacted to the criticisms she encountered from the Muslim community regarding her forthcoming film endeavor.
Two days earlier, Nancy utilized her Instagram platform to endorse her upcoming venture. Within the images she shared online, the proficient actress was depicted donning a niqab while brandishing a firearm in certain photographs, and in another image, she was captured alongside her fellow cast members, one of whom was attired in a hijab for a scene depicting a robbery.
The aforementioned images failed to resonate positively with a Muslim woman who, through her TikTok account, admonished the actress for exhibiting disrespect towards her, her religious beliefs, and the values she upholds.
She proceeded to enlighten the actress on the significance of the Niqab and elucidated on why it should not be trivialized as a mere costume for the propagation of reprehensible themes within society.
The woman conveyed her exasperation towards individuals who exploit their attire for personal gain, deviating from shared values.
In response to this critique, Nancy Isime, via her Instagram profile, released new images of herself accompanied by insightful captions.
She underscored her inclination towards maintaining a tranquil existence devoid of unnecessary commotion or idle chatter, emphasizing her unwavering dedication towards pursuing her aspirations and financial objectives.
Emphasizing her preference for serenity, she declared her aversion to unnecessary entanglements with others, asserting her detachment from external opinions in order to safeguard her peace.
She wrote:

To protect my peace, I stopped taking other people’s projected opinions personally.
