The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has extended a contract offer to Herve Renard to become the new head coach of the Super Eagles.
This comes after Finidi George stepped down from the position and accepted a role with Nigeria Premier League Football (NPFL) team Rivers United.
Sources suggest that Herve Renard has been offered a €2 million annual salary by Nigeria.
However, Egypt is also reportedly interested in hiring the former Ivory Coast manager, setting up a potential competition for his services.
