Sophia Momodu, the mother of Nigerian singer Davido’s daughter Imade Adeleke, recently attended her daughter’s school for World Career Day where she shared her experience as a social brand influencer.
Despite the ongoing custody battle, Sophia Momodu found herself missing the school routine with her daughter during the summer break. She fondly remembered being invited to speak at Imade’s prestigious school about her career as a social brand influencer, which she humorously dubbed as part of the “Soft Money Gang.”
During the event, Sophia Momodu engaged with the students, discussing the ins and outs of influencing and sharing her own journey in the industry. She was thrilled to see the students’ passion and creativity, impressed by their determination to mix intelligence and hard work in pursuit of their dreams.
“As the summer break begins, I find myself reminiscing, and I miss having a school routine with @realimadeadeleke; one of my fondest memories of school being in session was when I had the honour of being invited to my daughter’s prestigious school for World Career Day as a social/brand influencer—or what I like to call “soft money gang”.
We had a blast chatting about all things influencing, sharing experiences, and answering endless questions…
I was delighted to see how many of the kids were already thinking outside the box and dreaming big! It’s amazing to see the new generation learning to infuse working smart & working hard into finding their purpose.
As Jess Lair said, “Children are not things to be moulded but are people to be unfolded.”
The future is bright, and I can’t wait to see what these young influencers achieve!”.
