Nollywood star Femi Adebayo opens up about a tense moment with his father, Oga Bello, on set.
During the filming of ‘Taiwo Taiwo’ in 2008, Adebayo accidentally slapped his father while shooting a scene as an armed robber.
Directed to rob his own father in the scene, Adebayo’s emotions got the best of him.
The slap was unplanned and not in the script, but Femi Adebayo explained that he was immersing himself in his character. Despite regretting the action, he apologized to his father afterwards.
Surprisingly, Oga Bello praised his son for the realism he brought to the scene and forgave him, acknowledging that it added to the intensity of the performance.
