Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has voiced his worries about Nigeria’s current economic state.
Taking to his Instagram page, the Yoruba actor, previously known for his support of Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election, expressed doubts about the efficiency of price control and regulatory agencies in the country.
Saidi Balogun called for clarity on strategies to lessen the effects of inflation.
Balogun emphasized the urgency for solutions to combat the escalating prices affecting both individuals and businesses, stating that the situation is rapidly spiraling out of hand.
“Do we have a functional price control or piece regulatory agency in Nigeria?
How do we cushion the effects of inflation?
Because things are getting out of hand” he wrote.
