Dr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas (MON), the current President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has officially declared the revocation of the suspension imposed on the film producer Adanma Luke.
Adanma, the individual behind the production of the film titled “Another Side of Life”, was directly impacted by the unfortunate demise of Junior Pope and four additional crew members while engaged in the filming process.
The formal declaration regarding the rescindment of the suspension was disseminated through an official statement released by the secretary of the guild, Abubarkar Yakubu.
Furthermore, the aforementioned statement explicitly mentioned that the President of AGN has also annulled the prohibition on filming activities within riverine regions, though a strict reminder was issued for members to diligently adhere to the safety regulations stipulated in the AGN statutes.
It is noteworthy to recall that similar to AGN’s actions, the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) had previously announced the immediate suspension of Adanma Luke back in April.
Recalling that Adanma Luke is the mastermind behind the upcoming film project that was slated to feature the deceased actor, Junior Pope, who met his unfortunate demise in a maritime accident.
Subsequently, a statement endorsed by the national president of AMP, Queen Blessing Ebigieson, highlighted the establishment of a nine-member committee tasked with investigating the circumstances surrounding the untimely deaths of Junior Pope and his companions.
