FG lifts suspension on Arik Air operations

The suspension of Arik Air’s operations by the federal government has been lifted, following a resolution of the dispute between Atlas Petroleum and the airline.

Michael Achimugu, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed the end of the conflict in a statement.

The post reads: “The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo SAN, and the DG of NCAA, Capt. Chris Najomo, have successfully resolved the impasse between Arik Air and Atlas Petroleum. By this resolution, Arik Air will begin operations today.”

He also added that Arik Air passengers can now check-in for scheduled flights.
