Big Brother Nigeria star Mercy Eke recently appeared in the “Love is a Game” program, wherein she elaborated on her choice to engage in cosmetic interventions, notably a Brazilian butt lift (BBL).
Mercy Eke articulated that she yielded to social influence in 2018, at a time when such trends were prevalent among her peers.
She acknowledged that she experienced initial trepidation and anxiety regarding the procedure; however, she ultimately proceeded with it in conjunction with two of her companions.
She characterized the post-operative phase as excruciating, encompassing significant discomfort and mobility limitations for an extended duration.
Notwithstanding the difficulties encountered, Mercy maintains that the outcomes of the procedures were justified.
Additionally, she elucidated that her only cosmetic alteration has been the application of fillers to her lips, thereby dispelling speculations regarding surgical modifications to her face.
Mercy Eke underscored the necessity of education and awareness concerning cosmetic procedures, accentuating the distinctions among various methods and their respective implications.
Mercy Eke said:
“I was really scared when I wanted to do it; I didn’t tell my mum because I didn’t want anyone to discourage me. So it was me and two of my other friends, we planned it, paid and did it together.”
“Getting your body massaged after the surgery is the painful part, also not being able to sleep on your bum for 14 days thereabout so you have to lay with your stomach. Also, when the nurses try to massage you to bring the water out.”
“It was worth it. People keep saying that I touched my face so I keep posting throwbacks for them to see. I have only touched my lips, I had fillers done, it dissolves after 3 months and I feel like people need to be more educated.”
“I had liposuction done and my bum is the softest you would even touch, it’s just fat so it feels like water”.
